Environmental sustainability and social responsibility are core values of DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti.

These principles not only represent the beating heart of our corporate philosophy, but they permeate every aspect of our operations and guide our daily decisions. An awareness of the importance of preserving our environment and contributing positively to the local community is what fuels our continued dedication to an ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible business approach.

GreenKey Certification

We have achieved the important Green Key certification, which is the highest standard of excellence in environmental responsibility and sustainable operations in the tourism industry. This certification benefits from worldwide recognition by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and is administered on an international scale under the direction of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

To achieve this important milestone, we embraced the principles of sustainability from the initial stages of the Hotel’s construction. This commitment is reflected in the judicious selection of materials with low environmental impact, supplied by local partners who share our values of environmental protection. To optimize energy savings, we have implemented advanced home automation systems with room presence detection, adopted SmartMenus and implemented all best practices aimed at maximizing energy efficiency.

Treedom Partnership

We determinedly continue our environmental commitment through our valuable partnership with Treedom. Together, we have already accomplished a significant project: the creation and ongoing expansion of a forest of coffee trees in Colombia. The forest is not only a symbol of our dedication to the environment, but also a green haven that continues to grow, reflecting our desire to leave a long-term positive impact on the planet.

Hilton Programs

We participate in Hilton’s Lightstay programs to monitor the environmental impact of hotels and Travel with Purpose to raise awareness of sustainable tourism.

Hilton’s Travel with Purpose program, from an e ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) perspective, promotes responsible travel and tourism globally. Through Travel with Purpose, Hilton aims to create a positive environmental and social impact in both the supply chain and community impact of hospitality activities.

Social Responsibility

DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti pays special attention to humanitarian, social aspects and ethical and moral principles in our dealings with employees and the local community. This sensitivity reflects our broader commitment to contribute positively to both the environment and the social dynamics of the area in which we operate.
